Governance Proposal Briefing
A structured 90-minute session for token holders preparing to vote on an active Solana governance proposal.
Who This Session Is For
Token holders, validator operators, and DAO contributors who hold voting weight on a Realms governance account and want a neutral walkthrough before signing a transaction. You do not need prior experience reading on-chain proposal text, but you should have access to the wallet that will cast the vote.
What You Receive
- A plain-language summary of the proposal scope and intended outcomes
- Review of treasury allocations, program authority changes, and timelock conditions
- Timeline map from discussion phase through vote close and execution
- Checklist of questions to raise in community forums before voting
- Written session notes delivered within 24 hours
Session Flow
Minutes 0–15: You share which proposal you are evaluating and your current understanding. The facilitator confirms the correct Realms link and vote deadline.
Minutes 15–55: Section-by-section reading of the proposal text. We pause at each instruction block to explain what would change on-chain if the vote passes.
Minutes 55–75: Treasury and authority impact review. We identify dependencies on other programs or pending proposals.
Minutes 75–90: Open Q&A. You decide your vote independently; the facilitator does not recommend approve or reject.
What Is Not Included
- Legal advice or tax guidance related to token holdings
- Casting the vote on your behalf
- Analysis of proposals on chains other than Solana
- Technical audit of smart contract code
Preparation
Send the Realms proposal URL when booking. Have your voting wallet accessible in case you want to verify delegation status during the session. A stable internet connection and a quiet space for video call are recommended.
